Teresa Rose Edsell Trapani, 82, of Vestal, NY, passed Sunday, August 2, at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY, after an illness.
Terry was born in New Jersey to the late Robert W. and Doris Lowry Edsell. She was raised in Scranton, PA, and graduated from South Scranton Catholic High School in 1961.
While working at the University of Scranton she attended classes in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology.
She later worked in Wilkes-Barre at the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare until her marriage and moved to Endicott, NY.
She is survived by her children Michael V. Trapani (Endicott, NY), Tracy A. Trapani (Port St Lucie, FL) and her sister, D'Ann Cecere (Scarsdale, NY), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert D. Edsell, Sr.,
The funeral will be Saturday, August 15, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 312 Davis St., celebrated by Rev. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Minooka.
