Charles F. Kelly of Scranton died Monday July 28 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart. His wife, the former Elizabeth Finnerty, died in 2016. They were married for more than 54 years at the time of her passing.
Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late James and Winifred Pine Kelly. He was a 1948 graduate of Scranton Technical High School. He was employed as a truck driver for over 38 years. Prior to retirement, he worked for Leventhal Dental Supply.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are a son, Bill, and wife, Michelle of Scranton; two granddaughters, Quinn and Gillian; as well as nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Kelly; and a sister, Mildred Kelly.
As per his wishes, a private graveside service was held at Cathedral Cemetery.
