Manuel Alejandro (Alex) Cordero, Pre-arranged Funerals, Neil Regan Funeral Home, Scranton, PA

Manuel Alejandro "Alex" Cordero, 43, born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, was a resident of Scranton, PA, who passed away on the evening of Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. He was a beloved son, husband, father and brother. He loved fishing, cooking, hunting, playing slots, spending time with his wife and daughters, a true Giants fan and he loved his nap times. He enjoyed time with his dog, Mac, and his daughter's cat, Chibi. Overall, he loved being with his family on both his side and his wife's side. He had some great friends who have been by his side for 20+ years. He cherished his landscaping business Cordero Enterprise.

He leaves behind his Mother, Norma and Stepfather Miguel from Blakely, PA. His Stepfather who helped raise him, Jose, from New York. His wife, Araceli, who he was happily married to for almost 22 years. His daughters, Veronica, Carmela and Paula from Scranton. His oldest sister Maribel and husband Adalberto, from Jessup. His sister Norma, and niece and nephew Katalina and Jadiel from Middletown, New York. His sister Zoraida and niece and nephew/godson, Nately and Juan from Throop. And his baby sister Katherine, her husband Jose and niece and nephews Kaylani, Lorenzo and Jovani from Blakely. As well as Aunts, Uncles and Cousins on his side and his Mother in Law, Brother in Laws, Sister in Laws and nieces and nephews from his wife's side.

Manuel was known to many as Alex, those who knew him knew how hard working and a great friend he was. He was truly a loving father, husband, son and overprotective brother. He will be truly missed by his loved ones and all of those who knew him and loved him.

We are blessed to have had 43 years with Alex or "bro" as we called him. He will always be Mom's "goldito". We love you always and forever!

A viewing will be Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Neil W. Regan Funeral Home, Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave. A blessing service will be celebrated at noon followed by interment at Cathedral Cemetery.
