Ginina Narvaez Coughlin, 43, of Scranton, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 7, 2024. Born in Irvington, N.J., Ginina was a resident of Scranton, where she made countless memories and touched many lives with her vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to her family.
Ginina was the cherished daughter of Victor and Bonnie Narvaez. She graduated from Scranton High School in 1998. Her friends and family remember her for her candid nature and her steadfast commitment to those she loved. She had a unique ability to express her opinions with both honesty and compassion, qualities that endeared her to many and left a lasting impact on those around her.
Her legacy will live on through her three beloved children: Kaden, Leighna and Mackenzie, who were the center of her world. Ginina's devotion to her children was unwavering, and she worked tirelessly to provide them with love, support and guidance. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert John Hayes, Christopher Hayes and Joseph Narvaez; and her sister, Victoria Narvaez. In addition, she leaves behind a large extended family, including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends, all of whom will deeply miss her presence.
Ginina's warmth, her strong voice and her deep love for her family were the cornerstones of her life. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together and create bonds that would last a lifetime. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share their memories with her family on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave. A funeral service to celebrate Ginina's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024 at St. Paul's Parish, 1510 Penn Ave. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Those attending the funeral on Monday may proceed directly to the church.
Ginina Narvaez Coughlin will be remembered with great affection and sorrow, and her legacy of love and commitment will continue to inspire those who knew her.
