Edward J. Regan, of Scranton, formerly of Buffalo, N.Y., and Baltimore, Md., died Thursday, Feb. 8, at Regional Hospital, days after his 85th birthday. Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Rep. Edward M. and Dorothy Quinn Regan.
A graduate of West Scranton High School, Eddie served in the United States Army. He was a store manager for Wm. Hengerer Co. in Buffalo and later worked for AAA in Baltimore. In retirement he returned to his hometown of Scranton.
Eddie was very proud of his Irish heritage and celebrated every Parade Day with a party. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by brothers, Paul, Tim and Robert Regan.
Friends and family may call Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
