William C. Hannon, 60, of Scranton, died Saturday at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a brief illness.
Born in Scranton, he was a son of William J. and Ruth Watts Hannon of Moscow, and a graduate of North Pocono High School. He was employed as a CDL truck driver for various companies, a job that satisfied his love of traveling. Billy also enjoyed playing and collecting guitars, and had a small music studio set up in his home. Billy was known for his kindness and generosity, and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and his beloved long-haired dachshund, Molly.
Also surviving are a daughter, Erica Hannon; two brothers, Sean Joseph and Kevin James Hannon; a niece, Haylee Hannon; a nephew, Sean Hannon; and Billy's partner of over 23 years, Rosanna Clark.
Friends may call Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave. A brief memorial service will begin at approximately 6:30.
