Robert Kuhn, 58, of Moosic, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Whiteville, N.C., as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert E. Kuhn, Michael J. Kuhn and Amanda N. Kuhn; and former wife, Susan Kuhn; brother, Peter Kuhn; and sister, Cindy Kuhn Yourdon; brother-in-law, Brian Yourdon; former sister-in-law, Evie Kuhn; and nieces and nephews.
Those who predeceased him include father, Robert E. Kuhn; and mother, Margaret M. Tarbrake Kuhn.
Robert was a father to three wonderful children that were his world and they loved him immeasurably. He attended Riverside High School, Taylor. Robert worked for the United States Postal Service for 22 years as a lead automotive technician. He was a Pennsylvania State Constable for over 10 years. He was a very kind and generous man who lived his life to the fullest. Robert loved his community. He volunteered for over 20 years with the Greenwood Hose Company. He was a member of the VFW Post 6518, Exeter, and VFW Post 8335, Avoca, as well as the Waldorf Park Social Club, Scranton.
Robert was a part of the biker community. It was his true passion. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. Rob had over a million miles ridden. Washington D.C., Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia, Key West and Myrtle Beach were just a few of his destinations. He was involved with many motorcycle clubs and organizations and businesses. Some of those included Red Knights Motorcycle Club, Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club and Execution Cycle LLC.
The funeral will be Saturday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., celebrated by Pastor Robert Walls of Our Father's House. Friends and family may call Friday, June 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
