Rosanna M. Battista, 90, of Exeter, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 21, at Highland Manor. She was the longtime companion of the late Harold Morse, who died in 1991. Born in Montrose, NY, she was the daughter of the late John, Sr. and Estah Buckley Hogan.
She was a former employee of Danon's Auto Parts in Dover, NJ. A beloved mother and grandmother, she was a sensitive and generous individual who deeply cared for animals and aided many individuals in her lifetime.
Rosanna is survived by her six children, Tina Champeaux Wolner, Janice Battista, Gloria Yatsko, Donato Battista, Jr., James Battista, and Cristina Hill; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to her companion, she was preceded in death by her former husband Donato Battista, Sr., and her brothers, Edward and John Hogan, Jr.
A private funeral was arranged with Neil W. Regan Funeral Home, Inc., 1900 Pittston Avenue, Scranton, PA 18505. Interment at Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ will be private at the convenience of the family. To email condolences, visit the funeral home website.
